Huskies Wrap Up Play At Sahalee Players Championship
September 07, 2025 | Men's Golf
SAMMAMISH, Wash. – A pair of Top-20 individual finished by Finn Koelle and Jacob Goode guided the Washington men's golf team to a ninth-place finish in a stacked field at the Sahalee Player Championship at Sahalee Country Club.
"We finished the round poorly in terms of our back 9 so it might be easy to miss the positives right now but I think we saw enough good stuff in spells this week to know that we have a solid team," head coach Alan Murray said. "The goal is now to improve on that and I think this week identified clear areas that we have to get better in."
Koelle finished the tournament in a tie for 11th at 2-over par 218 after a final round 76. Goode fired the lowest round of the day for the Dawgs with a 2-over 74 to complete his first collegiate tournament in a tie for 20th (+5, 221).
Grady Millar (+9, 225), Jake Foley (+14, 230) and Jack Murphy (+15, 231) rounded out the starting five for the Dawgs. Foley and Murphy both carded a final round 4-over 76 while Millar posted a 5-over 77.
Competing as individuals, Brock Maulding (+11, 227) and Vidur Subramaniam (+22, 238) finished in a tied for 41st and a tie for 65th respectively in the field of 72.
"We will get back to work tomorrow and begin preparing for our next tournament in two weeks," Murray added.
Up next, the Huskies will host The Tindall at Golf Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash., September 22-23.
