
Huskies Place Third At The Tindall

BREMERTON, Wash. – The Washington men's golf team wrapped up The Tindall with a third-place finish at Gold Mountain Golf Club.
UW entered the day in fifth and fired an 8-under (280) to move into third.
The tournament marks the best team finish for the Dawgs since the Western Intercollegiate in April 2024 where they came in second.
Washington finished ahead of three teams receiving votes in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll in Cal, Washington State and UNLV. No. 24 BYU won the tournament at 37-under followed by No. 17 Utah at 32-under.
Playing as an individual, Jake Foley had a sixth-place finish, shooting 7-under for the tournament after a 1-over (73) final round today. It is the best finish of Foley's career.
Grady Millar had this third consecutive round of 70 to finish at 6-under and in a tie for eighth in his second collegiate tournament.
Sophomore Brock Maulding followed up his 4-under performance from yesterday over two rounds with a 1-under (71), good for 11th place at 5-under total. It is the first Top 15 finish in his career.
Rounding out the lineup was Jacob Goode, Finn Koelle and Jack Murphy with a 15th, 19th and 51st place finish respectively. Koelle shot his lowest round of the tournament on the final day, going 3-under, highlighted by a pair of eagles on the back nine.
Vidur Subramaniam, playing as an individual, posted a 3-over (75) to finish in 74th at 12-over for the tournament.
Up next, the Huskies have a month off from competition before going on the road for back-to-back tournaments at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Marietta, Ga. (Oct. 24-26) and The Clerico in Tulsa, Okla. (Oct. 27-28)
