SEATTLE – Two weeks since UW's season opener have flown by and the Husky cross country squads are ready for round two. They return to racing on Friday morning at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, hosted by the Badgers in Madison at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.
The day begins with the B races at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time. The women's championship race is scheduled for 9:50 a.m. Pacific time followed by the men's championship at 10:30 a.m. Pacific.
RunnerSpace will be live streaming all the action.
The loaded Nuttycombe fields will feature 19 of the top-30 ranked teams in the nation on the women's side, including the 18th-ranked Huskies. The men's race features 17 of the top-30 teams in the nation.
Expected to race on Friday for the women are Ella Borsheim, Mia Cochran, Abby DeVeau, Chloe Foerster, Isabel Olson, Brianna McInnis, Maeve Stiles, Jenica Swartz, Sam Tran, and Josephine Welin.
Men headed to Wisco are Isaac Briggs, Cruize Corvin, Thom Diamond, Jamar Distel, Parker Mong, Nathan Neil, Reuben Reina, and Josiah Tostenson.
