
No. 11 Washington Welcomes Undefeated Boise State Sunday

SEATTLE -- The No. 11 University of Washington women's basketball team (9-1) continues its four-game homestand on Sunday (Dec. 11), hosting Boise State (8-0) at 2 p.m. PT. The game will air on Pac-12 Networks with radio coverage on gohuskies.leanplayer.com.
Senior Kelsey Plum is on the verge of breaking the all-time Pac-12 scoring record, needing just 23 points to surpass former Stanford Cardinal and 2014 WNBA Rookie of the Year Chiney Ogwumike (2011-14, 2737 points).
Just 10 games into her senior season, Plum has already scored 297 points and leads the nation in scoring with 29.7 points per game. The Poway, Calif. native has had five 30-plus games this season, including a season-high 44 against Seattle U (Nov. 26).
Washington moved up two more spots to No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. The Huskies started the season ranked No. 17, then jumped two spots each week its played. Four other Pac-12 teams are also ranked: UCLA at No. 9, Stanford at No. 10, Colorado at No. 18 and Oregon State at No. 24. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Huskies are also ranked No. 13.
The Huskies are leading the nation in several categories this season including 113 made three-pointers. Washington is 113-of-274 from three-point range, hitting at a .412 clip and all 12 players who have played this season have hit at least one. The Huskies' 11.3 three-pointers per game ranks third while the team's 90.9 points per game is fourth-most in the NCAA.
Plum and Chantel Osahor are leading the nation in scoring and rebounding, respectively. Plum is averaging 29.7 points per game while Osahor is averaging 15.4 rebounds per game. Osahor's nine double-doubles this season also tops the NCAA. The pair were both named to the 2017 Naismith Watchlist while Plum was also named to the watch list for the Wade Trophy.
The Huskies, who have beaten its last six opponents by at least a 30-point margin, have hit or gone over the century mark five times this season, which ties a program record.
Washington is coming off a 57-point win against CSUN, 101-44. Five Huskies finished in double-figures led by Plum who led all scorers with 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting and 4-of-7 from three-point range. Freshman Aarion McDonald made her first collegiate start in the game and went on to score a career-high 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting and 3-of-4 from behind-the-arc. Chantel Osahor registered her ninth consecutive double-double in the contest with 10 points and 20 rebounds.
