
Washington Welcomes Idaho On Tuesday

SEATTLE -- The University of Washington women's basketball team will continue play at home on Tuesday (Nov. 21) when it hosts Idaho at Alaska Airlines Arena. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. PT. The game will be streamed on GoHuskies.com with radio coverage on gohuskies.leanplayer.com.
Washington (3-1) is coming off its first loss of the season to top-ranked Notre Dame in the Preseason WNIT championship game. Despite outscoring the Irish, 52-46, through the final three quarters, the Huskies could not overcome a 25-8 first quarter deficit, losing, 71-60. Senior Kelsey Plum, whose 28.0 points per game leads the nation, led the Huskies with 22 points. Senior Chantel Osahor recorded her third double-double of the season in the contest with 11 points and 12 boards.
The Huskies moved up two spots in the latest AP Top 25 poll, climbing to No. 15. Washington is also ranked No. 15 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Washington has made 48 three-pointers over the course of four games, which ranks second-most in the nation. The Huskies' 12.0 three-pointers per game also ranks second.
Last week, Plum earned the first Pac-12 Conference weekly honor of the season after being named the league's Player of the Week after her 32-point performance against Eastern Washington. Plum has scored 20 or more points and has led the Huskies in both points and assists in all four games to open the season. Osahor has been Washington's leading rebounder in all four contests.

Idaho finished the season 24-10 last season and is off to a 2-0 start this year with close wins over Seattle U. (68-64) and Cal State Fullerton (88-86). The Vandals were voted to finish first in their conference by the coaches and second by the Big Sky media poll.
Idaho is averaging 11.0 three-pointers per game, which ranks seventh in the NCAA. The Vandals are led by Geraldine McCorkell who is averaging 22.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
