2021 Pac-12 Javelin Bronze Medalist
2022: Scored at the Pac-12 Championships once again in the javelin and would placed 20th at NCAA West Prelims in his final competition β¦ at Pac-12s, placed sixth with a throw of 210-11 β¦ threw 211-3 at West Prelims in Arkansas β¦ upped his personal-best in the javelin to 215-8 at the Fresno State Invitational, placing second β¦ second at the UW-WSU Dual with a mark of 210-1 β¦ named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
2021: Made the podium at the Pac-12 Championships in the javelin in just his second competition of the season, throwing 211-6 to finish in third-place β¦ set a PR in his javelin season debut going 214-0 at the West Coast Relays for third β¦ qualified for NCAA West Prelims but did not compete due to a health issue β¦ did the triple jump to score a point in third at the UW-WSU Dual ... a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member and a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team pick.
2020: Season canceled due to COVID-19 β¦ a Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll selection.
2019: A strong freshman season saw him qualify for NCAA West Prelims in the javelin β¦ competed at the USATF U20 Championships in June and finished fifth overall with a new PR of 203-9 β¦ placed 37th at his first West Prelims competition with a toss of 194-4 β¦ in his first meet as a Husky, threw the javelin 201-3 at the Stanford Invitational to take fourth β¦ threw 201-8 at the Beach Invitational β¦ was second at the Ken Shannon Invitational with a toss of 196-11.
High School and Personal: Born in Altus, Oklahoma β¦ parents are Amy and Douglas Annanie β¦ has one older brother, Nicholas β¦ father was a gymnast at the Air Force Academy β¦ was the top-ranked javelin thrower in Washington as a senior in 2018, setting a personal-best of 203-1 in a win at the Pasco Invitational β¦ a three-time Washington 1A State Champion in the javelin, winning as a senior with a toss of 195-3 β¦ had four more meets of 200-foot throws as a senior, including at the 2018 Ironwood Classic in Idaho where he was third at 201-9 β¦ also set his schoolβs pole vault record as a senior at 14-6 and qualified for state three times in that event as well, with a best of third in 2017 β¦ threw discus regularly with a best of 137-3.
