2025 Outdoors: Broke the 50-foot mark in the triple jump for the first time at the Stanford Invitational, going 50-2 1/2 โฆ a long jump collegiate best of 23-8 3/4 at the Stanford Invite โฆ qualified for first NCAA West Prelims in the triple jump, finishing 40th overall with a mark of 48-5 1/4 โฆ competed at Big Ten Outdoors but suffered an injury on his first long jump attempt โฆ earned Spring Academic All-Big Ten honors.
2025 Indoors: Went to No. 8 in school history in the triple jump with a best of 49-11 1/4 at the Don Kirby Invite in New Mexico on Feb. 15 โฆ competed at the Big Ten Indoor Championships and finished 10th overall in the triple jump at 49-5 1/2 โฆ indoor season-best long jump of 23-6 at the UW Invitational.
2024: Competed indoors and out in his freshman season in both the long and triple jumps โฆ jumped at the final Pac-12 Championships, placing ninth in the triple jump โฆ triple jump PR of 48-0 ยพ at the Fresno State Invitational โฆ best long jump of the year was 23-8 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational โฆ went 47-11 in the triple jump at the Stanford Invitational โฆ indoors, was seventh in the triple jump at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet, going 47-1 ยพ โฆ long jumped an even 23-feet in his collegiate debut at the UW Preview for fourth.
High School and Personal: Born in Seattle โฆ mother is Cherise Hutchinson and father is Richard Hutchinson, both University of Washington alumni โฆ one older sister, Alexia โฆ member of National Honor Society โฆ the Washington State 4A Champion in both the long jump and the triple jump as a senior in 2023, going 23-9 in the long jump and 47-7 ยผ in the triple jump โฆ set a long jump PR of 24-3 at the 2023 Shoreline Invitational โฆ took sixth at the 2023 Nike Indoor Nationals with a long jump of 23-5 ยฝ โฆ helped 4x100m relay team take second at state in 2022 and third in 2023 โฆ as a junior in 2022, placed fourth at state in both horizontal jump finals โฆ triple jumped 45-9 ยฝ at the 2022 USATF Junior Olympic Nationals, finishing fourth.
