Joins the Huskies in 2024-25 after scoring at the NCAA D-III meet in 2024 for Pacific Lutheran University as a sophomore.

2025: Made big strides in his first season as a Husky, setting multiple javelin PRs and scoring at his first Big Ten Championships โฆ took eighth in the javelin at Big Ten Outdoors in Eugene, throwing a lifetime-best of 222-8 โฆ qualified for NCAA West Prelims in the javelin, placing 31st overall in College Station with a toss of 206-9 โฆ set a then-PR of 211-8 at the Desert Heat Classic โฆ opened the year with a then-PR throw of 208-10 to take fifth at the Stanford Invitational ... earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.
2024 At PLU: All-American as a sophomore as he placed sixth at the NCAA Division III Championships in the javelin with a PR of 206-feet, 10-inches โฆ took second at the Northwest Conference Championships, throwing 197-6 โฆ threw 193-9 at the GFU NCAA Final Qualifier.

High School and Personal: Born in Toledo, Wash. โฆ parents are Pamela and Kevin Olmstead โฆ has one brother, Conner โฆ an all-around athlete who qualified for the Washington 2B state meet in the 300m hurdles, the 4x400m relay, and the javelin โฆ won the 4x400m relay, was third in the javelin, and seventh in the 300m hurdles at state as a senior โฆ senior season was only year competing in track in high school โฆ also lettered in football and basketball and was All-Conference in both โฆ member of the FFA and Honor Society.
