CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. β The Huskies split day one of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Thursday. Washington opened with a five inning run-rule of Bethune-Cookman, 16-0, and dropped an extra innings matchup against No. 18 Kentucky, 11-3.

Kelley Lynch opened the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic with a five-inning no-hitter against Bethune Cookman with 13 strikeouts as the Huskies went on to win 16-0. Lynch also had a hot bat, going 3-for-3 with four RBI, a walk and two runs scored. She also struck out 13 of the 16 batters she faced.

The Huskies went on to record five extra bases hits in the game, highlighted by Rylee Holtorf with a double and a triple.
