Washington Women’s Basketball Announces Complete 2026-27 Schedule

SEATTLE - Building on yet another successful season under Head Coach Tina Langley, the Huskies will face off against 13 other March Madness teams throughout the course of their 2026-27 campaign.
Washington looks to continue its recent success after posting its best regular-season record since 2016-17 at 22-11, and its most conference wins (10) since joining the Big Ten. The Huskies advanced to the NCAA Championships for a second-straight season and ended the year ranked 25th in the final AP poll.
The Huskies will open the 2026-27 season with a 10-game non-conference slate before beginning their third season of Big Ten play.
Alaska Airlines Arena will host nine of Washington's 10 non-conference contests, with the lone road matchup coming against Washington State. The Huskies will open the season on Nov. 2 against fellow NCAA Tournament opponent UC San Diego.
Washington will begin Big Ten play at home on Dec. 5 against USC. The matchup will be the first of 18 conference contests for the Huskies, who will face every Big Ten opponent once while playing Oregon twice. Washington will host the Ducks on Feb. 25 and travel to Eugene on Feb. 4.
In addition to USC, Alaska Airlines Arena will host eight other Big Ten matchups, including Wisconsin (Jan. 2), Maryland (Jan. 14), Purdue (Jan. 17), Iowa (Jan. 27), Indiana (Feb. 7), Rutgers (Feb. 17), Oregon (Feb. 25) and UCLA (Feb. 28) to close out the regular season.
The Huskies will face nine Big Ten opponents on the road, beginning with Nebraska on Dec. 29. Washington will then travel to Illinois (Jan. 7), Northwestern (Jan. 10), Michigan State (Jan. 20), Michigan (Jan. 23), Oregon (Feb. 4), Ohio State (Feb. 10), Penn State (Feb. 13) and Minnesota (Feb. 20).
The 2027 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will take place from Wednesday, March 3 through Sunday, March 7.
All television designations and tip times will be released at a later date.
The 2026-27 Huskies return three players who earned Big Ten postseason honors last season in Sayvia Sellers, Avery Howell and Brynn McGaughy. Sellers was named to the All-Big Ten First Team by the conference's coaches, while Howell earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors and McGaughy was selected to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Washington also welcomes an exciting group of newcomers, including five transfers and freshman guard Amayah Garcia. The transfer class is led by 6-foot-6 junior Tilda Trygger, who joins the Huskies from NC State after averaging 10.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game last season.
Garcia, a four-star guard from Fort Worth, Texas, will look to be a force on both sides of the ball in her freshman season.
