Huskies Named ABCA Academic Excellence Award Winners

SEATTLE - Washington Baseball was recognized as an American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Academic Excellence Award Winner, highlighting the program's academic success during the 2024-25 season. The Huskies earned a 3.44 GPA over the course of the school year and most recently had 16 players named to the Dean's List this spring.
The Academic Excellence Award is presented annually to ABCA member teams from all levels of high school and collegiate baseball that achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.
The Huskies found success in the classroom all year long, posting a school year-best 3.49 GPA in the fall quarter. Jackson Hotchkiss and Jaxson Gore were among the best student-athletes in the entire department academically, posting a 4.0 GPA in the fall.
