Justin Glenn Hired as Director of Big W Club and Engagement Programs
June 12, 2023 | General, Washington Athletics Staff Central
SEATTLE – University of Washington Director of Athletics Jen Cohen has hired Justin Glenn as the Director for Big W Club and Engagement Programs. In this role, Glenn will be responsible for engaging current and former Husky student-athletes, developing the Boundless Futures development program, and alumni recognition programming.
"I am honored and beyond excited to serve the UW as Director of the Big W Club," said Glenn. "This University has provided me with unbelievable opportunities, both as a student-athlete and throughout my professional career, and for that I am forever grateful. I'd like to thank Jen Cohen and Shannon Kelly for their vision and leadership, Husky football for supporting me over the past 10 years, and the student-athletes that I've worked with and have impacted my life. I'm excited to connect with our alumni and provide them with resources and engagement opportunities."
The Big W Club is an organization within the Washington Athletics that helps letterwinners stay connected to the UW after graduation. Big W Club members retain the spirit and pride of being a Husky by taking part in exclusive gatherings and events, reconnecting at the biannual Hall of Fame induction or individual team reunions.
"I couldn't be more excited to have Justin serve our community in such an important role," said Jen Cohen, Director for Athletics. "Justin is passionate about working with former and current Washington student-athletes and helping them achieve their goals. As a former football player, he bleeds purple and gold. Over the past decade, he has worked with Husky football and created opportunities for student-athletes to develop on and off the field. He is exactly who we need in this position."
Glenn played Safety for the Huskies and graduated with a Communications degree in 2013. He has worked with Husky football since 2014 when he was hired as Program Assistant, and has served as Assistant director of Player Personnel, Director of High School Relations, Director of Recruiting, and most recently served as the Director of Player Development on head coach Kalen DeBoer's staff.
