
Aguilar Signs Pro Contract With Scrap Yard Dawgs

Husky All-American and USA Softball shortstop Ali Aguilar has agreed to join the Scrap Yard Dawgs in the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) league. The three-time All-Pac-12 First Team member was the 13th overall pick in the NPF's April Draft by the Dawgs, who are based in Conroe, Texas outside of Houston.
Aguilar wrapped up her decorated career at Washington by hitting .352 with a team-high 14 home runs and 62 runs scored for the Huskies, who reached the semifinals of the 2017 Women's College World Series. She then joined the Women's Softball National Team and helped USA to a runner-up finish in the World Cup of Softball XII. Aguilar hit .353 in seven games for the red, white and blue.
Aguilar will join a Scrap Yard Dawgs' squad that currently in second in the NPF standings.
