Plum led the way with 13 points, but Walton chipped in nine on 4-5 shooting, including making her only 3-pointer. The Dawgs finished 6-9 from beyond the arc in the half, compared to just 2-9 for Arizona State.
The Sun Devils took control in the third quarter, taking their first lead at 31-30 by making a 3-pointer to open the period. The Huskies would fight back as the teams traded leads until midway through the quarter when ASU went on a 15-0 run to go up double digits. Washington trailed 54-43 heading to the fourth quarter.
The Devils extended the lead over the final 10 minutes as the lone highlight was Plum setting the Pac-12 career free throw mark.
For the game, Washington shot 40.8 percent (20-49), but did not make a 3-pointer in the second half. The Dawgs were also a perfect 11-11 from the foul line, but outrebounded 35-27 and turned it over 19 times. Arizona State scored 24 points off Husky turnovers, while the Dawgs scored only seven off 10 Sun Devil giveaways.
