Cameron Foster, a veteran of professional sports and a UW graduate, joined the University of Washington Department of Athletics as Senior Director of Contracts and Cap Management on Feb. 12, 2025.Β
With the preliminary approval of the House Settlement, UW Athletics is working to best position itself for the future environment of collegiate athletics. Foster will serve as UW's lead negotiator on revenue share agreements. He will also be a part of UW's Cap Management Team and assist in developing and managing strategies across several areas, including revenue sharing, roster management, and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) benchmarking.
"As we plan for a future under the terms of the House Settlement, change will continue to be the norm in college athletics," saidΒ Pat Chun, Director of Athletics at Washington. "UW Athletics has been working to define what our staffing needs will need to look like in the new environment. We are excited that Cameron is joining the UW Athletics family. He has made a career of advocating for athletes across a range of complex financial and legal matters and we welcome Cameron back to his alma mater."
Foster is the president and founder of Reign Sports Management, a professional sports agency representing a wide array of professional athletes, including NFL players and Husky alumni Vita Vea, Kaleb McGary, Nick Harris, Myles Bryant, and Napoleon Kaufman. Foster has represented over one hundred professional athletes, primarily in football, but also including a select few professional athletes in the NBA, WNBA and MLB. He co-founded Foster & Easley Sports in 1989 along with NFL Hall of Famer and Seattle Seahawks legend Kenny Easley. Foster & Easley continued until 2016 when Foster founded Reign Sports Management. In 2021, Foster joined legendary sports agency Steinberg Sports and Entertainment as Senior Vice President, working with clients including Patrick Mahomes, Sean Rhyan, and Tua Tagovailoa.

Foster graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 and was a member of the UW rowing team. As a second-year law student, he became a certified contract advisor with the NFL and graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1991. Committed to non-profit work and community involvement, Foster has created over one hundred non-profit 501(c)3 foundations for his clients including The Moyer Foundation (Jamie Moyer/Seattle Mariners) and the Rome Odunze Foundation.
