
Leaving Vienna Tuesday morning, the Huskies crossed into Slovenia and arrived in Maribor after about a four hour bus ride. Kylin Muñoz recaps the first part of the journey and UW gets a win in its first match vs. Croatia.
Leaving campus at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, the Husky volleyball team pulled into their hotel in Vienna, Austria at around 5 p.m. Monday evening safe and sound.
Washington leaves today on its first foreign tour since 2006, visiting Austria, Slovenia, and Italy. The Huskies will have some high level volleyball competition, and experience new cultures, food, and languages to grow as a team.
Another former Husky standout is set to make her international debut for Team USA, as 2010 grad Jenna Hagglund was recently named to the roster for the Pan American Cup, which begins today in Lima, Peru.
