Munoz Named GoHuskies.com SAOTW The senior led the Huskies to a huge win over Hawai'i in the NCAA Second Round.

SEATTLE - Senior Kylin Munoz from the volleyball team has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 26-Dec. 2.

The Monroe, Wash., native helped the 13th-seeded Huskies advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 with wins at home over Central Arkansas and Hawai'i.

Munoz had seven kills and just one error in the three-set sweep over UCA while hitting .429. She added one dig and four block assists and was second on the team in points for the match.

In the five-set thriller over Hawai'i on Saturday she had 15 kills on 38 attempts for a .289 hitting percentage and had a team-high nine block assists.

Other nominees include: C.J. Wilcox (men's basketball) and Aminah Williams (women's basketball).
