Click on the link above at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon to chat with Vansant about her All-Pac-12 season thus far and what her thoughts are on the team's chances heading into the NCAA tournament. Washington will be hosting the NCAA first and second rounds this Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Hawaii and Santa Clara will start things off in Alaska Airlines Arena at 5:00 p.m. followed by 13th-seeded UW facing Central Arkansas at 7:00 p.m. with the winners then meeting on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Vansant was voted to the All-Pac-12 Team this week, after finishing the regular season ranked fourth in the conference in kills per set with 4.11. She was twice named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week this season and once named National Player of the Week, as the Huskies capped the regular season with a 23-6 record and 14-6 mark in Pac-12 play. |
