SAVANNAH, GA -- TranSports Athletics, Inc., in conjunction with the University of Washington Volleyball, is proud to announce an exciting trip to Beijing and Shanghai, China, June 12-23, 2006, with the University of Washington Husky Volleyball team. This trip is designed for the women's volleyball team and coaches, family and friends, and open to University students, alumni, boosters and local organizations who do business with China.

This 12 day /10 night program will visit two of the most fascinating cities in the world to watch one of the finest volleyball teams in the United States compete against some of the best teams in China including the Chinese National Team which includes members of the Gold Medal Athens Olympic Team. Additionally, tours have been planned to the Great Wall of China, Ming Tombs, Tiananmen Square and the historic Forbidden City. The Temple of Heaven and Silk Alley are also included in the Beijing itinerary. When in Shanghai, participants will tour the Yuyuan Gardens, the Bund, Jade Buddha Temple, National Museum and visit Pudong.

"This trip will see the best the U.S. has to offer going against the best that China has to offer", said Dale Brannan, CEO, TranSports Athletics, Inc and a University of Washington alum. "Since Beijing will be the site of the 2008 Olympic Games, this trip will have great athletic significance as well as provide cultural and educational experiences that will last a lifetime."
