Tyler played volleyball and Filipo was a rugby player ... her cousin, Everette Thompson, played football at Washington from 2008-11, starting every game on the defensive line his junior and senior seasons ... a standout outside hitter as well as defender in high school, she was ranked 50th overall in PrepVolleyball.com's 2012 list of Senior Aces and fourth nationally among liberos ... named to the 2012 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 ... named an ESPNHS First Team All-American in 2010, one of just 12 players ...
