The reason UW's volleyball team has won four matches this season after saving match points, and is in the NCAA regionals Friday at Nebraska, goes far beyond the court. It's from unique team bonding last summer.
2012 (As A Senior)
The only Husky to play in all 117 sets, ranking second on the team with 3.23 points per set ... earned first career All-Pac-12 honorable mention as well as All-Pacific Region honorable mention ... had career-highs across the board, hitting .263, leading the team with 37 aces (0.32 aces/set) and ranking second on the team with 1.22 blocks per set ... was the top-ranked outside hitter in the Pac-12 in blocks per set ... did not join the regular service rotation until a few matches into Pac-12 play, therefore 33 of her 37 aces came in conference matches, giving her a 0.42 aces per set average in Pac-12 play, tops in the league ... led the Huskies in kills in five matches, aces in seven matches, and blocks in seven matches ... had double-figure point totals in 23 of UW's 32 matches ... had 7 kills (.217 Att%), 1 ace and 4 blocks in season-ending defeat at Nebraska ... helped power UW to a huge 3-2 win over Hawaii (12/1) in the NCAA 2nd round, leading the team with 21.5 points on 15 kills (.289 Att%), 2 aces, and 9 blocks ... hit .429 with 7 kills and 4 blocks in NCAA 1st round win over Central Arkansas (11/30) ... led the Dawgs to the 3-0 win at Washington State (11/23), posting 13 kills (.310 Att%) and adding 8 blocks and 2 aces ... team-high 15 kills on a .324 Att% against Arizona State (11/21) plus 4 blocks and 1 ace ... racked up 5 aces plus 5 kills in the 3-0 win over Oregon State (11/17) ... one of the best matches of her career vs. No. 4 Oregon (11/16), leading the team with a season-best 17 kills (.342 Att%) along with 8 blocks and 2 aces for a career-high 23.5 points in the 3-2 win in which the Huskies saved 14 match points ... had 8 kills on a .156 Att% at No. 1 Stanford (11/8) ... at Cal (11/7), notched 9 kills (.214 Att%) and tied season-high with 6 digs in the five set win ... in 3-2 comeback win over Utah (11/4) had 7 kills, 2 aces, 3 digs, 4 blocks ... set new career-high with seven aces vs. Colorado (11/2), the most by a Husky since 2008 ... at No. 6 UCLA (10/28) had 7 kills, 2 aces, 4 digs and 3 blocks ... 4 kills, 6 blocks at No. 7 USC (10/26) ... in win over Cal (10/21), had 6 kills, 2 assists, 4 digs and 4 blocks ... served up 4 aces plus 9 kills vs. No. 2 Stanford (10/19) ... at No. 5 Oregon (10/13), had 10 kills and 8 blocks, hitting .296 ... had 6 kills, 4 blocks, 5 digs and an ace in 3-0 win at OSU (10/12) ... followed 10 block night with 8 at Colorado (10/7), a career-best for a three set match, scoring 10.5 points ... had a career-high 10 blocks at Utah (10/5), adding nine kills on a .318 Att% ... got into serving rotation and responded with 5 aces in the 3-0 win over No. 3 USC on 9/28, adding 4 kills, 3 blocks ... contributed 8 kills in five-set win over No. 4 UCLA (9/26), including one that saved a match point in the fourth set; also had then-career-high 8 blocks ... posted a season-high 14 kills in four set win at Arizona (9/22), hitting .370 ... had 8 kills and 7 blocks in Pac-12 opening win over Washington State (9/18) ... hit season-high .615 at Portland (9/11) with nine kills, one error and 13 attacks, her third match in a row over .500 ... hit over .500 without an error in consecutive matches as UW topped Seattle and Long Beach State on Sept. 6-7 ... against Long Beach State (9/7) had 9 kills on 18 attempts with season-high 5 blocks ... led Huskies in points for first time in 2012 vs Seattle (9/6) with 9.0 points, including 8 kills on a .571 percentage ... earned second-straight All-Tournament Team recognition, getting a spot on the Tiger Classic team as UW went 3-0 with an upset of No. 7 Purdue ... hit .375 for the Tiger Classic weekend, with 2.78 kills/set, and had 7 kills without an error on 15 swings (.467) against Purdue (8/31) to go with 4 blocks ... named to the Northwest Challenge All-Tournament Team after starting all three matches and appearing in each set, averaging 2.33 kills, 0.78 digs, 0.89 blocks, and 2.89 points per set while hitting .300 for the weekend.
2011 (As A Junior)
Appeared in all 32 matches, starting 27 and playing in 106 of the 108 total sets ... upped her production across the board from her first season, averaging nearly one more kill per set while hitting nearly 70 points higher ... ranked second on the team with 289 kills and a 2.73 kills per set average ... hit .228 for the season and her .217 average in Pac-12 play was tops on the team among outside hitters ... reached double-figures in kills in 15 matches, and the Huskies were 13-2 when he had double digit kills ... set a career-high with 18 kills in the Sept. 3 win at Gonzaga, hitting .368 ... high for Pac-12 play was 16 kills in five set win at Washington State on Nov. 25, hitting .433 ... led or shared the lead in kills in six matches ... led the team with 13 kills in the 3-0 win on Sept. 17 vs. UCLA, hitting .429 ... hit .300 or better in 13 matches with at least five kills ... hit .400 or better in six matches with at least five kills ... had a career-best 11 digs in the season-opener against Prairie View A&M ... also had a career-best five aces in that first match ... posted a career-best seven blocks, one solo and six assists, in the Oct. 21 win at Oregon State ... four more matches with five or more blocks, averaging 0.72 for the season, second amongst outside hitters ... earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2010 (As A Sophomore)
Played in all but one match during the season and appeared in 103 sets ... was fourth on the team in kills with 181, averaging 1.76 kills per set ... had six matches with nine or more kills and twice reached double-figures ... had 10 kills on Oct. 23 against Arizona State and followed that up with a season-best 11 kills in the next match at UCLA on Oct. 29 ... season-best attack percentage of .545 (6-0-11) came on Aug. 27 against Mercer ... also hit .421 with nine kills against Robert Morris on Sept. 18 ... hit over .300 in both matches on the Oregon road trip, with 17 kills on the weekend ... had a season-best two aces on two occasions, once on Sept. 11 vs. Florida Gulf Coast and again on Sept. 18 vs. Robert Morris ... played in all four NCAA tourney matches, contributing six kills to UW's upset of No. 3 Nebraska in the Round of 16 ... also matched her season-high with four blocks against the Cornhuskers ... also had at Pittsburgh and home against Oregon ... had 71 digs on the year, a 0.69 digs per set average ... season-best nine digs came at Georgia on Sept. 10, where she also had nine kills, just missing a double-double ... a Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.
2009 (As A Freshman)
Sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.

One of the top players in the state of Washington over the past four seasons ... earned a barrage of accolades in 2008 for her senior season, including being named the 2008 Gatorade Player of the Year for Washington ... named All-American and ranked as the No. 6 senior nationally by PrepVolleyball.com ... AVCA 1st Team All-American and a Volleyball Magazine Top-50 recruit as a senior ...
