SEATTLE - Weather conditions have forced the Husky women's tennis team to cancel its home opener, scheduled for Friday afternoon against Sacramento State at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. Sacramento State's flight was canceled and alternatives this weekend were unavailable. The teams will attempt to reschedule the match for later in the season. The men's tennis match set for 5 p.m. against Idaho is still set to go on as planned. The 27th-ranked Huskies will now play their first dual match in the first round of ITA National Team Indoor Qualifying, next Friday in Berkeley, Calif. against San Diego. |
