Women's Tennis Upsets No.25 San Diego State

SAN DIEGO - The Washington women's tennis team upset 25th-ranked San Diego State (5-3) 6-3, this evening at SDSU's East Courts. The Huskies, ranked 42nd by the latest ITA poll, have extended their win-streak to four and are now 7-2 on the season.
Washington's Kristina Kraszewski, currently ranked 22nd in the nation, defeated No.98 Maggie Cole 6-1, 7-5 in No.1 singles action. This win improves Kraszewski's record to 16-5 and extends her win-streak to four.
In doubles action, the 25th-ranked team of Kraszewski and freshman Ilona Kordonskaya recorded an 8-6 win over the Aztec's 30th-ranked tandem of Cole and Sarah Donovan. The Husky duo now owns a 10-5 overall season record.
Tomorrow the Huskies wrap up the weekend with a match against San Diego at noon. Washington 6, San Diego State 3
