HUSKIES ON THE AIRWAVES
KKNW AM-1150 will air 15 games this season, while Fox Sports Net will broadcast the May 7 game vs. Stanford in addition to UWTV airing eight games live in the Pac-10 season KKNW, through rights-holder Washington ISP Sports Network, will carry 15 softball games during the regular season and will carry all postseason games. Long-time baseball play-by-play man Mike Brown returns for his 12th season behind the microphone, while John Cowley delivers color commentary for his ninth season with the Huskies. All games will air live on KKNW, and are also available over the internet at www.gohuskies.com or newschannel1150.com. Fox Sports Net, meanwhile, has picked up Washington's May 7 Pac-10 contest against Stanford at 6 p.m. in Seattle. In addition, UWTV will air eight Pac-10 games live, with Angie Mentink and Dena Tyson Slye calling the action. The final two games of each Pac-10 series will air live on UWTV and will also air on a tape-delayed basis on Fox Sports Northwest. Below is the complete 2010 Husky Softball Radio and TV schedule.
