SEATTLE - Head coach Heather Tarr announced the 2013 softball schedule which includes non-conference trips to Hawai'i, San Diego State, Palm Springs, Colorado State and Cal State Fullerton tournaments. UW will also host the anuual Husky Softball Classic in Seattle. The Huskies will host Oregon, Oregon St., Stanford and Cal during Pac 12 play.

The Huskies will begin the 2013 season at the Paradise Classic hosted by Hawai'i, Feb. 7-9. The Huskies will open the season with St. Mary's and also face UAB, Ole Miss and the host Wahine.

After returning from Hawaii, familiar trips for the UW to the Campbell Cartier Classic hosted by San Diego St and the Cathedral City Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., round out the month of February.

In San Diego, Washington will face off against Notre Dame, Kentucky, Oklahoma, San Diego State and UC Riverside. In Palm Springs, the trip will be highlighted by a game against the USSSA Pride from the National Pro Fastpitch league (NPF) which features four former Huskies in Danielle Lawrie, Jenn Salling, Ashley Charters and Niki Williams. Virginia, Florida State, Illinois and Georgia are also on the schedule.

Seattle University recently renovated its field and will host the Huskies for a single game at the new Logan Field on Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.

The first weekend in March, the Dawgs will travel to Colorado State. March 8-10 is the annual Husky Softball Classic which features Ohio, Bradley, New Mexico, Yale and Seattle U.

The final non-conference test will be the prestigous Judi Garman Classic hosted by Cal State Fullerton. Always one of the toughest tournaments of the season, the UW will play Michigan, DePaul, Texas, Penn State and Pacific.

Pac-12 play starts on March 23 in Tucson, Arizona for the Huskies. Washington will also go on the road to UCLA (April 2), Arizona State (April 12) and Utah (May 3).

Oregon visits Seattle on March 28, followed by Oregon State (April 6), Stanford (April 19) and Cal (May 11).

The NCAA Regionals begin May 19 with the Super Regionals the following week. The 2012 NCAA Women's College World Series will run May 30-June 5 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
