SEATTLE - Head coach Heather Tarr has announced that the annual coaches clinic will be held Saturday, January 19th 2013, from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. inside the Dempsey Indoor, adjacent to Husky Softball Stadium. "Our annual coaches clinic in January is an exciting time for our staff," said Tarr. "We get the opportunity to coach up the coaches and pass on our philosophy and techniques to help further the development of our great game. Last year we had over 200 coaches in attendance- this year we're striving for 300 plus." The Husky Coaches Clinic is designed to share with you the latest in instructional strategies and skills for all facets of the game. The UW players and coaching staff will demonstrate all skills and drills, applicable to all levels of play--from Little League through the highest level of travel ball. All attendees will receive a Coaches Clinic Manual as well as food and drinks. WIAA Clock Hours will also be available. Group discounts for the coaches clinic are available for those coaches from the same school, club, league, etc. Group registration is done by mail only.
