SEATTLE -The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced their All-America Scholar Athlete list and five Huskies earned a place on the list based on the 2010-11 school year GPA's. Seniors Jenna Clifton and Taylor Smith, sophomore Bryana Walker and 2011 senior Morgan Stuart received the honor. Washington was ranked No. 68 out of 133 Division I teams with an overall 3.240 GPA. The award is given to players whose names are submitted by a member coach and who have achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2010-11 academic year. In total, 4,331 honorees representing over 707 different academic institutions were named. Honorees came from all levels of play from NAIA, junior colleges, and high school up to Division I, II, and III.
