SEATTLE - The Annual Fall Softball Tournament will be held at Husky Softball Stadium Oct. 5-7. The Huskies are inviting five local teams from Washington State including Wenatchee Valley Community College, Western Washington University, Bellevue College, Central Washington University, and Seattle University.

This weekend is packed with hours of great softball, including Husky veterans such as Kaitlin Inglesby and Shawna Wright but also giving valuable exposure to our new freshmen.

Among the new arrivals from all over the country is freshmen pitcher Jocelyn Carter from Maple Ridge B. C., who competed with teammates Victoria Hayward and Husky Alums Danielle Lawrie and Jenn Salling on the Canadian National Team before starting school at the UW.

The softball classic is an exhibition tournament, which allows young players to take their first steps on Husky ground and fans to welcome them. In addition, the tournament is a great opportunity for young softball players to take a closer look at several divisions of college softball all in one weekend. The Huskies and Seattle U represent DI teams, Central and Western Washington are DII powerhouses and Bellevue and Wenatchee are NWAAC two year colleges.

Get your tickets at the Husky Softball Stadium Ticket Office and support your fellow Huskies.
