SEATTLE - Fall play is underway for the UW softball team and head coach Heather Tarr and the Huskies return to Seattle to host a free, open scrimmage to the public on Sunday. The three-hour scrimmage, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. will be at the Husky Softball Field. It is free to all with free parking as well. The Purple-Gold scrimmage will feature the current Huskies in uniform. Washington spent the last week in Selah, Wash., and Northern Idaho conducting camps and playing games/scrimmages. In a doubleheader Thursday night at North Idaho College, the Huskies won 12-0 and 15-1. Wahkiakum Lane will be closed on Sunday 10:45 a.m. - Noon to accommodate Convocation. If you are arriving during that time, you can enter through the north end of E1 or through E12. |
