June 29, 2000 WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Seven members of the Washington softball team earned a spot on the 2000 Pac-10 All-Academic team, including four first-team honorees. Repeat first-teamers from a year ago were seniors Jeanine Giordano, 3.35 in sociology/society and justice, Jamie Graves, 3.19 in sociology, and Jennifer Spediacci, 3.22 in business, along with junior Kelly Hauxhurst, 3.38 in speech communications. Senior Rosie Leutzinger, 3.16 in communications/anthropology, and sophomore Shannon Walsh, 3.24 in literature/history/political science, were named second team. Junior Christie Rosenblad earned honorable mention accolades. |
