May. 1, 2000 WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington's Jamie Graves was named Pac-10 Pitcher of the Week for her efforts last weekend helping UW sweep against No. 9 Cal and No. 11 Stanford. Graves went 2-0, with a win against each team, and allowed just one run in 14.0 innings. She posted a 0.50 ERA and struck out 13 while holding opposing batters to a .250 average. Graves is now 22-3 on the year with 146 strikeouts and a 0.53 ERA. This marks the second time this season and fourth time in her career that Graves has earned the weekly honor. |
