WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington sophomore pitcher Kaitlin Inglesby was named Pac-12 Softball Pitcher of the Week for February 6-12, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.

Just hours after she earned Pac-12 honors, the NFCA announced that Inglesby was the National Player of the Week.

Inglesby picked up where she left off her freshman year, leading the Huskies to a perfect 5-0 record and the co-championship of the Kajikawa Classic. Inglesby went 3-0 in the circle with two complete games, one save and a 1.17 ERA. She allowed just three earned runs in 18.0 innings, struck out 14 and held opponents to a .169 average. In the season opener against No. 21 Nebraska, Inglesby had a complete game shutout with five strikeouts as the Huskies won 4-0.

Not only was Inglesby impressive in the circle but at the plate she hit .400 with four runs, six hits, three home runs, six RBIs, a 1.000 slugging percentage, three walks and no strikeouts.

This is the first Player of the Week honor for Arioto and the 71st weekly honor for Cal all-time. This is Inglesby's second career Pitcher of the Week honor and Washington's 83rd award.

No. 7/9 Washington will play at the Campbell/Cartier Classic in San Diego starting on Friday.
