Husky Softball Gets Rained Out Of Final Day Of Matador Invitational

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Washington softball team wound up winning the Matador Invitational a day early, as the final day of competition was rained out on Sunday. The second-ranked Huskies had defeated each of the three other teams at least once: Cal State Northridge (9-5, 3-0), San Diego State (10-0) and Santa Clara (5-2).
UW, now 7-0, return to competition on Thursday in a doubleheader at Southwest Texas State before competing in the Texas Invitational Friday through Sunday in Austin.
