SEATTLE – Softball players ages 8-18 are invited to attend the UW All-Skills clinic this weekend. The clinic will include work in every aspect of the game. A pitching only session is available from 9:00-10:00 a.m., and the All Skills Clinic will be held from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Dempsey Indoor next to the softball field on the Washington campus, Saturday, January 19. The All-Skills clinic will have 10 offensive and defensive skill stations. Each group will have 7-8 campers of similar age, and will have a current Husky player as their camp coach for the day. The remaining Husky players and coaches will work each skill station. This is your chance to connect with the 2013 Dawgs. It is a great opportunity to get the reps you need to develop your softball skills. We can't guarantee friends or teammates will be in the same group, but will do our best to try- please list the names of those you'd like to be grouped with in the comments section of your registration. Pitchers attending the 9:00 a.m. session will need to provide their own softball and catcher. The catcher can be a teammate or family member, and catcher’s equipment is optional. Each player must bring their own softball equipment. No cleats or spikes are allowed in the Dempsey, turf or court shoes only.
