Final Stats

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 14/15 UW (36-16, 7-15) dropped a heartbreaker at No. 19/21 Stanford (35-16, 8-12), dropping game two, 1-0 on an unearned run Saturday afternoon.

The lone run in the game came in the fourth for Stanford. Hanna Winter singled to lead off the inning for the Cardinal and scored on a fielder's choice RBI by Ashley Hansen after advancing to third on an error.

UW outhit the Cardinal 6-3, being led by freshman Kylee Lahners (Laguna Hills, Calif.) with three hits. Sophomore Hooch Fagaly (Chino, Calif.) added two hits.

Sophomore Bryana Walker (La Quinta, Calif.) got the start, falling to 9-3 on the year, allowing one unearned run on three hits. Fellow sophomore Kaitlin Inglesby (Portland, Ore.) pitched the final 2.0 innings in relief, allowing just two walks.

The final regular season game for UW is Sunday at noon at Stanford. The NCAA Selection Show is Sunday, May 13.
