2009 (As A Sophomore)
Started at shortstop in all 30 games after becoming eligible to play for the Huskies on April 2... Heated up at the plate in the postseason after taking a month to get her timing back due to a long layoff since the 2008 Olympic Games... Closed out the season hitting safely in 14 of the final 15 games, including a nine-game hitting streak at one stretch... Raised her average from .100 to .270 over the final 15 games... Hit .318 in the World Series and .415 in the postseason, second on the squad... Scored 10 runs, drove in eight and walked seven times in 12 postseason games... Also contributed three doubles... Despite playing in half of the team's games, still managed to rank tied for sixth on the squad with five doubles and seventh with 16 walks... After going 2-for-11 in the first three World Series games, bounced back with a 3-for-4 effort with a run, a double and two RBI in a 9-3 semifinal win over Georgia... Had one hit in four at-bats the first game against Florida but scored twice and drove in two runs as well in an 8-0 win... Batted .400 (2x5) with four runs and two walks in the Super Regionals raising her average another 12 points ... Went 1-for-2 with a double and three runs scored in the first game and 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in the second game... Led UW in the NCAA Regionals in Amherst, Mass., hitting .571 (8x14) with three runs, three walks and four RBI... Her average increased in those four games alone by 50 points, going from .192 to .242... Started the regionals with a 3-for-4 game with two runs and an RBI in a 9-1 win over Sacred Heart... Went 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI in UW's 3-1 win over UMass... Had her second multi-hit game of the weekend with a perfect 2-for-2 game with a walk in a 5-1 loss to the Minutewomen... Later that night, went 2-for-6 with a double, a run and two RBI in the Huskies' thrilling 6-1 15-inning win... Had a sacrifice fly in the first inning then drove in the game-winning run in the 15th inning when she beat out an infield single with two outs... Also made some key defensive plays during the marathon game... Became eligible prior to UW's home series with the Arizona schools and promptly started all three games at shortstop and in the No. 3 spot in the batting lineup.. While she went hitless in eight at-bats, she still made an impact by scoring three runs and driving in two... Was also hit by pitch twice.. Reached base in her first two at-bats and scored both times in a 6-0 win over Arizona (4/3)... Was hit by a pitch in her first at-bat with the Huskies and eventually came around to score the first run of the game... Later reached on a fielder's choice and scored again... Scored a run and drove in another in UW's 11-3 win over Arizona State (4/4)... Drove in the tying run in UW's 3-2 win over Arizona State (4/5) in the fifth inning on an RBI groundout... Collected her first hit with the Huskies against her former team in a 2-0 win over Oregon (4/17)... Had the game-winning RBI on a fielder's choice ground ball in UW's 1-0 nine-inning win over Oregon State (4/18)... Had a two-run single in a 7-1 win over the Beavers (4/19)... Had a hit and a walk and scored a run in UW's 9-2 loss at Arizona State (4/24)... Also had a hit and a walk and stole her first base of the season in UW's 4-1 win over Arizona (4/25)... While she did not get a hit in UW's four games at home against UCLA, OSU and UO, she still contributed by walking four times and scoring three runs... Walked once in each of UW's four wins... Bat started to heat up in the final weekend of regular season play when she ripped two doubles off the straight-away centerfield wall against Cal... Had a hit in all three of UW's games against Cal and Stanford.. Went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a 7-0 win over Stanford (5/7)... Had a double in her only official plate appearance and also walked twice in a 1-0 loss to Cal (5/8)... Went 1-for-3 with a run and two RBI including an RBI-double in an 11-3 win over Cal (5/9).
At Washington
Became eligible to play for the Huskies on April 3, 2009 after transferring from Oregon...Teams up with Husky ace and Canadian National Team teammate Danielle Lawrie... Both played for Canada in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
2007 (At Oregon As A Freshman)
Played one year for the Ducks, batting .481 with 14 home runs... One of the top 10 finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, the only freshman to be named a finalist... Named First Team All-American after finishing in the top-10 of the NCAA in batting average (second), slugging percentage (sixth) and runs batted in per game (ninth)... Also in the top-three in 11 different Pac-10 statistical categories, including on-base percentage (second), walks (second) and total bases (second)...Named the Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year.
Canadian National Team
Four-year member of the Canadian National Team... Played in the 2008 Summer Olympics for Canada with Danielle Lawrie... Started at shortstop and batted clean up in all of Canada's Olympic contests
Terry Fox Secondary
Named Female Athlete of the Year in 2004 and 2005... Was named the top defensive player in her junior and senior basketball seasons... Named Top Offensive player on the volleyball team in 2005... Named MVP of both her basketball and volleyball teams.
