WITH USA SOFTBALL: One of four Huskies invited to the USA Softball Womenís National team camp in late May 2001 ... joined teammates Tia Bollinger and Kim DePaul on the USA Blue team, which competed in three tournaments over the summer of 2001 ... started all 24 games at shortstop ... helped power the USA to a gold medal at the Pan Am Games Qualifier in Venezuela, earning All-Tournament honors ... led the field at the Pan Am Qualifier with a .483 batting average, including 19 of the teamís 63 RBIs ... one of three UW players invited to the womenís national team camp in Chula Vista, Calif., in January 2002 ... also part of the U.S. Junior squad, which finished second at the 1999 ISF Junior Womenís World Championship in Taipei, Taiwan.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned first-team All-CIF Southern Section Division I honors as a shortstop her senior year at Foothill High School ... helped lead team to a runner-up finish as a sophomore, to the semifinals as a freshman, and to the quarterfinals as a junior and senior ... named the L.A. Timesí Player of the Year her senior season ... earned first team All-CIF honors as a sophomore ... played for the Orange County Batbusters, which won the national title her sophomore year and finished as runner-up the next summer.
