Soccer Winter Academy Dates Set

SEATTLE - Youth soccer players in the Pacific Northwest will have a chance to learn from the Elite 8 University of Washington women's soccer team this winter on six different dates as a part of the Winter Academy that runs Jan. 21 through March 11, 2011. Each session will run from 5:30 - 7 p.m. on the East Field. Academy dates are: Jan 21 and 28, Feb. 11 and 18, and March 4 and 11. Boys and girls ages 6-14 are welcome to attend and work on improving their skills with the Huskies' student-athletes and coaches. The Academy will be six weeks of high intensity, fun, technical training taught by the current UW Women's Soccer team. Top end dribbling moves and shooting techniques as well as passing and movement off the ball will all be covered in a creative fun environment designed to build the love for the game that has seen our current Huskies rise to the top! The cost is $175 per camper and you can register by filling out the attached form. Make checks payable to: "University of Washington Women's Soccer."
