SEATTLE -- Washington women' soccer is pleased to announce the return of the 5th Annual Winter Soccer Academy. This highly successful event will return beginning January 11 and run each Friday through February 8. The Winter Academy is open to girls and boys ages 4-14 and is a great chance to improve soccer skills with the Washington women's coaching staff. The Academy is open for 4-6 year olds from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. for a modified 60-minute session. Then, the main 90 minute session is available to 7-14 year olds from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Washington's Winter Academy is available Friday's, January 11, 18, 25, along with February's 1 and 8. Early registration is available for a discount of $10 and be sure to sign up soon because the camps will fill up. The normal cost is $120 for the 60-minute session and $175 for the 90-minute session. The Winter Soccer Academy is designed to be high intensity, fun soccer taught by the current UW coaching staff and its players. Top end dribbling moves and shooting techniques as well as passing movement off the ball will all be covered in a creative, fun environment designed to build the love for the game that has seen our current Huskies rise to the top.
