SEATTLE - Husky Legend Hope Solo and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, swung through to week three on DWTS, dancing the Jive to Avril Lavigne's `Girlfriend.' Although they finished the night in eight place among the 11 couples remaining, the combined score of the 19 points the pair earned by the three judges with votes from viewers was enough to help move them through to round three.

Solo and Chmerkovskiy will be performing the Cha-Cha this week, a ballroom dance originated from Cuba. The dancing duo will need to work on the tightness of their routines, which the judges said they struggled on in Week Two. Viewers can follow the action along on Twitter with #maksolo to support the pair.

Italian model Elisabetta Canalis and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy packed their bags, joining NBA star Ron Artest (now Metta World Peace) and his dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd. Despite having the third best score Monday Night, team `Valisabetta' couldn't get enough votes from the audience.

To vote for team `MakSolo', fans can call the toll-free number 1-800-868-3408, text "VOTE" to the same number (for AT&T customers only), or go on-line to abc.com and register to vote. The phone and text number will remain the same throughout the season. Fans can start voting multiple times during and immediately after each performance show. Phone and text lines will stay open until 30 minutes after the end of the show. Online voting will continue to be open until 8 a.m. PT the following day, when the DWTS Results Show will air (Tuesdays at 8/7C) and the couple with the lowest combined score from judges and viewer votes will be eliminated from the competition.

Go Huskies!
