MORAGA, Calif. - Senior Erin Bailey converted a penalty kick with just under four minutes to play and sophomore goalkeeper Leslie Weeks registered eight saves to preserve a 1-0 Washington women's soccer victory over Saint Mary's on Sunday at Garaventa Field.

The Huskies played their fourth one-goal game, evening their record at 2-2 as Bailey tallied her second game-winning goal. Her penalty kick, at 86:17, was awarded following a Saint Mary's foul in the box.

Weeks posted her second shutout. The Gaels dropped to 1-3 despite the eight saves of goalkeeper Nicole Lunceford. Both teams attempted 13 shots on goal.

Washington plays at 11th-ranked Portland on Saturday before hosting Utah, Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.
