SEATTLE –The 2013 Women’s Pre-Season Coaches Gymnastics Poll was announced on Dec. 3 and the GymDawgs were picked 17th with 212 total points. A total of six Pac-12 schools were picked in the top 25. Alabama was first followed by UCLA, Florida, Oklahoma and Utah in the top five. Stanford came in sixth from the Pac-12 followed by Oregon State (9th) and Arizona (19th). Arizona State and California received votes. The Huskies were tied for 18th in the final poll of 2012 with Illinois. Washington hosted the 2012 Seattle Regional and barely missed out on a trip to the NCAA Championship meet. View the complete poll here. The GymDawgs will host the annual Purple and Gold Intrasquad Meet on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. The event is free at Alaska Airlines Arena but general parking rates will apply around campus.
