Hey GymDawg fans!
I had my last team picture day ever Wednesday and we did something a little different this year. After we finished up with pictures, all of us, including the team and coaches, our athletic and weight trainers, and sports psychologist went to Golden Gardens Beach. It was a perfect day for the beach and the weather was beautiful. The team arrived first so, of course, we started taking more pictures! The senior class hadn't taken enough apparently. We were getting pretty creative with the water and georgeous sunset in the background and took a ton of great shots! When the coaches showed up, they set up a tent and we had a quick dinner then it was on to the bonfire! We sat around the fire and shared our goals and why we were proud of ourselves and each other. It was great to hear that everyone is on the same page and shares similar goals going into the 2013 season. After a few inspirational speeches from our staff came the s'mores! Even though our fire wasn't the biggest, we all enjoyed our sticky treats and watched the sunset until we were just about ready to leave. We snapped a few more pictures and then called it a night. It was a great picture day and an even better team bonding day. We hope y'all are as excited as we are for this season!
