McKenzie Fechter won her first bars and all-around titles vs. ASU.

SEATTLE - Freshman gymnast McKenzie Fechter has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 27-March 4.
The Mequon, Wis., native led the Huskies in the Pac-12 Dual Meet last Friday and the upset over No. 22 Arizona State. UW posted its team-best season score of 195.725 and improved its RQS to 195.025.
Fechter won the all-around, knocking off one of the top 25 all-around performers in the country, Beate Jones. Fechter won the all-around with a 39.250, her second-highest collegiate all-around score. She tied for fourth on vault (9.775), won the bars (9.850), placed sixth on the beam (9.825) and was fourth on the floor (9.825). Her bars scored tied a career-high.
It was the first all-around title for Fechter as a Husky and her first bars win as well.
