SEATTLE - Lauren Rogers from the gymnastics team has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3. The senior co-captain from Plains, Pa., tied her career-high for the second-straight week in the all-around with a 39.175 in Washington's upset over No. 12 Arizona on Friday night at home. The Huskies posted a team-best season score of 196.025. Rogers won her second all-around title of the year and second vault title of the year with a 9.850. Her 9.775 on beam was a season-high. Other nominees include: Andrew Andrews (men's basketball), Emmett Egger (men's tennis), Kasen Covington (men's track and field), Maddie Meyers (women's track and field), Talia Walton (women's basketball) and Elianne Douglas-Miron (women's tennis).
