Getting to Know ... Lauren Riesenman
My gymnastics goal(s) for the season:
Our team to qualify for Nationals and to make Super Six. My
goal is to become an All-American on any event, and place
in the top 16 at nationals.
If I had a web site, my address would be: www.coloring.com
If I starred in a movie, my leading man would be? Matt Damon because he doesn't try to be too extravagant, his
ity (and the way he impacts people) is awesome on and off the screen. And, I love his smile and hair cut.
My dream job is: To work for a national advertising agency as part of a creative team.
My dream vacation would be: To fly to New York, spend a few days, see some Broadway shows, and shop like mad. Then take off for Europe. See every single city.
My favorite meal is: My dad's Thanksgiving dinner, which I had to miss this past year.
The best book I've read lately is: "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks, recommended by Dave Dawson.
My favorite class at UW has been: Marketing 340, which is an advertising class
My biggest fear is: Disappointing my parents
The athlete at UW I admire the most is: Lanna Apisukh because she is our hidden secret. She goes in, rocks consistently, gets the job done. She never gets a lot of fan fair and is all so humble about the situation. Plus, she works through pain better than anyone I know. And, she is a darn good cook.
My favorite motto is: Life is short, don't spend it being unhappy.
My mentor is: Always my parents
If I could change one thing about myself, it would be: : That I had more self motivation and stronger passion.
If I could be a character from a book or movie, who would it be: Whinney the Pooh, everybody loves him, he's so huggable, but he is a little on the dumb side.
My favorite gymnast is? I don't have one, but every member of this years' team is awesome!
My favorite event is: Floor
My favorite web site is: www.msn.com because I can check my hotmail.
I started gymnastics at age: Six
My favorite gymnastics moment is: Winning regionals in 1998, the feeling of our team reaching its full potential.
