McKenzie J. Fechter is from Mequon, Wisc. ... her parents are James and Debbie Fechter ... nickname is Mack ... chose UW because she "had an immediate connection with both the coaches and the team; I knew right away that the University of Washington was the school for me."

"Mack is an amazing young woman who we are very excited about joining our program. She has competed at the highest level of our sport, went through a few minor injuries, moved a couple of times with her family, and has ended up back at home in Wisconsin at a great gym and a renewed passion for the sport.
