Personal Washington Career Highs on bars in both the 1997 and 1998 NCAA Championships meets. 1999 (Junior): Competed in every meet exclusively on bars ... reset her career high with a 9.900 performance vs. Oregon State ... that beam routine ranks as the fifth best score in UW history. 1998 (Sophomore): Injuries limited her competition time ... only competed on the bars ... did not participate in a Husky meet until March ... finished the year strong with back-to-back career best (9.775) performances at NCAA West Regional and NCAA Championships. 1997 (Freshman): Earned her first letter in 1997 ... did not enter into competition until midway through the season due to knee and wrist injuries ... competed on beam in seven competitions ... turned in her top performance at the NCAA Championships when she recorded a 9.750 on the beam ... prior to that her best effort was at the NCAA West Regional competition with a 9.7 performance ... competed on bars at Seattle Pacific and earned a score of 9.625. My favorite motto is: "Life is too short but to be anything but kind."
