The NCAA Women's Golf Championship gets under way Tuesday, May 22 and runs through Friday at the University of Georgia Golf Course. That is where UW walk-on Ying Luo will continue her remarkable freshman season.

Walk-on freshman Ying Luo claimed an individual spot for the NCAA Women's Golf Championship on Saturday, but the season ended for her teammates as a final round rally came up short in the NCAA Central Region.
UW shot a second round score of 19-over 307 in the NCAA Women's Golf Central Region on Friday to fall to 15th in the standings. The top eight teams will advance to the NCAA Championship after Saturday's final round.
