DAYTONA BEACH, Fla - A pair of Huskies in pursuit of their LPGA Tour cards fell short of their goal this past weekend. Both Anya Alvarez and Molly Aronsson failed to make the cut at LPGA Qualifying school.

Aronsson fell one stroke short of advancing to final round play of the 5-day, 88 hole tournament at LPGA International Course. The top 70 and ties made the cut, but Aronsson was +13 (73-80-72-76 - 301) and tied for 77th. She shot 4-over 76 in the fourth round.

Alvarez, a 2011 UW grad, ended up +18 for the tournament (74-83-73-76 - 306) and quite a bit behind the cut line.

Go Huskies!
